A DNA sequence encoding the Human CLDN18 (P56856-2) (Met1-Val261) was expressed with a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus and a flag tag at the C-terminus.This protein was prepared using our detergent platform. The transmembrane proteins' hydrophobic regions pose a challenge in maintaining their native conformation post-extraction from cellular membranes in standard buffers. To address this, our detergent technology platform utilizes a traditional yet proven membrane protein extraction method, incorporating detergents to stabilize the proteins. This method efficiently produces highly purified membrane protein products, suitable for use in early drug screening and research applications.
