Name :
ALP Conjugate Stabilizer (Azide and Mercury Free) - MB-061-0100
Display Name :
ALP Conjugate Stabilizer
Application Note :
Dilute your primary or secondary alkaline phosphatase conjugated antibody or other protein or compound with ALP Conjugate Stabilizer to the desired 1X working concentration determined for your conjugate. ALP Conjugate Stabilizer may be used to dilute conjugates when determining titer. In one step Rockland Immunochemical's ALP Conjugate Stabilizer dilutes and stabilizes precious conjugate reagents and saves time and money. Storing conjugates at a ''ready-to-use'' concentration removes the dilution step and risk of dilution variability for the end user. This makes repeated assays more reproducible. Do not freeze conjugate once ALP Conjugate Stabilizer has been added. Many ALP-conjugates prepared in this manner will maintain ALP activity for up to 12 months or more when properly stored. Addition of phosphate buffers to greater than 10% of total volume may cause precipitation. This product is a ''ready-to-use'' 1X diluent for Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) conjugated primary or secondary. This buffer contains Tris buffered saline, and proprietary reagents to stabilize and preserve Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) conjugated primary or secondary antibodies in solution. A proprietary combination of preservatives is used that is azide and mercury free.

Background :
ALP Conjugate Stabilizer is to be used with calf intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) conjugated primary or secondary antibodies or other proteins or compounds in solution.   The components of the stabilizer (proprietary) are unique, and stabilize both the antibody and enzyme portions of the conjugate. ALP Conjugate Stabilizer prevents the loss of catalytic activity and maintains the active conformation of the antibody portion of the conjugate.
