A working dilution of 1:10,000 to 1:40,000 is suggested for this product.

Anti-Protein A (GOAT) Antibody is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Protein A [Staphylococcus aureus]. Cross reactivity against Protein A from other sources is unknown.

Protein A is 56 kDA surface protein found in the cell wall of Staphylococcus aureus. Protein A has a high affinity to Human IgG, Mouse IgG and others and is therefore suitable for purification and detection of immunglobulins. Horse Raddish Peroxidase (HRP) is an enzyme that utilize organic peroxide compounds as electron donors.
