product details :
The Quantikine Porcine IL-8 Immunoassay is a 4.5 hour solid phase ELISA designed to measure porcine IL-8 in cell culture supernates and serum. It utilizes E. coli -expressed recombinant porcine IL-8 and antibodies raised against the recombinant factor. This immunoassay has been shown to accurately measure or quantify the recombinant porcine IL-8. Results obtained using natural porcine IL-8 show dose response curves that are parallel to the standard curves obtained using the Quantikine kit standards. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for natural porcine IL-8.
