The Quantikine« HS Mouse IL-1▀/IL-1F2 Immunoassay is a 4.0 hour solid phase ELISA designed to measure mouse IL-1▀ levels in serum and plasma. It contains E. coli-expressed recombinant mouse IL-1▀ and antibodies raised against the recombinant protein. Results obtained using natural IL-1▀ showed linear curves that were parallel to the standard curves obtained using the Quantikine« HS kit standards. These results indicate that the Quantikine« HS Immunoassay kit can be used to determine relative mass values for natural mouse IL-1▀.
