Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to inhibit the adhesion of HUVEC human umbilical vein endothelial cells. When 5 x 104 cells/well are added to Recombinant Human Cadherin-13 (Catalog # 3264-CA) coated plates, cell adhesion is inhibited in a dose dependent manner after 2.5 hours at 37 ░C. The ED50 for this effect is 1.0-5.0 ╡g/mL.
