Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of CHO Chinese hamster ovary cells transfected with VCAM-1. When 5 x 104 cells per well are added to Recombinant Human Integrin alpha 4í▀7/LPAM-1 coated plates (10 ╡g/mL, 100 ╡L/well), approximately 50-80% will adhere after 60 minutes at 37 ░C.
