Measured by its ability to inhibit anti-CD3-induced proliferation of stimulated human T cells. Human T lymphocytes cultured for 72 hours with PHA were incubated for an additional 3 days in 96 well plates coated with 500 ng/mL anti-CD3 and rrKIM-1. The ED50 for this effect is 0.4-2 ╡g/mL. Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
