Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of HT1080 human fibrosarcoma cells. Promotes cell attachment and spreading of HT-1080 human fibrosarcoma cells. Type I collagen forms a firm gel at neutral pH and 37°C when diluted to 0.4 mg/ml.
