FUNCTION :

Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types.

DILUTION INSTRUCTIONS :

Reconstitute in distilled water to the final desired concentration.

STORAGE CONDITION :

Lyophilized antibody is stable at 4 C for 2 years. Store the reconstituted solution in aliquots at -20 C for one year or at 4 C for 6 months after addition of 0.1% sodium azide by the user. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

SPECIFICITY :

This antibody specifically reacts with human P-Cadherin, and inhibits P- Cadherin dependent cell-cell contact.
