Schlafen 8 antibody was raised against a 14 amino acid synthetic peptide near the C-Terminus of Schlafen 8.

Specificity :

This antibody is has been designed to recognize mouse Slfn8 (NP_853523.1), however it MAY recognize mouse Slfn-10 (AAP30073) and mouse Slfn-9 (AAP30071) based on their similarity at the C-terminus.

Purity :

Schlafen 8 antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Application Summary :

ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000. Western Blot: Approximately 70 kDa band in mouse liver lysates after 1 g/mL antibody staining. The 70 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
