FkBP4, also known as FkBP52, is a member of the immunophilin protein family, which play a role in immunoregulation and basic cellular processes involving protein folding and trafficking. It is a component of unactivated mammalian steroid receptor complexes and may play a role in the intracellular trafficking of hetero-oligomeric forms of the steroid hormone receptors. It interacts with interferon regulatory factor-4 and plays an important role in immunoregulatory gene expression in B and T lymphocytes.

ICC/IF analysis of FKBP52 /FKBP4 in HeLa cells. The cell was stained with ATGA0142 (1:100). The secondary antibody (green) was used Alexa Fluor 488. DAPI was stained the cell nucleus (blue).

The cell lysates(40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human FKBP52 /FKBP4 antibody (1:1000). The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot, ICC/IF, FACS and IHC analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.

Flow cytometry analysis of FKBP52 /FKBP4 in HeLa cell line, staining at 2-5ug for 1x10^6cells. The secondary antibody used goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa fluor 488 conjugate.

Paraffin embedded sections of Seminoma (Germ cell tumor) tissue were incubated with anti-human FKBP52 /FKBP4 (1:50) for 2 hours at room temperature. Antigen retrieval was performed in 0.1M sodium citrate buffer and detected using Diaminobenzidine (DAB)
