Samples: Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces and Urine. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 0.25 ng/ml - 8 ng/ml. Sensitivity: 0.1 ng/ml.
other info2 :
Intended Uses: This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic or diagnostic applications! It is intended to be determinated EEF1A1 concentrations in Mouse serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Mouse EEF1A1 antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add EEF1A1 and EEF1A1 antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of EEF1A1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]

uniprot summary :
EEF1A1: an isoform of the alpha subunit of the elongation factor-1 complex, which is responsible for the enzymatic delivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. This isoform (alpha 1) is expressed in brain, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas. Promotes the GTP-dependent binding of aminoacyl-tRNA to the A-site of ribosomes during protein biosynthesis. Protein type: Translation; Translation elongation; Nucleolus. Cellular Component: extracellular space; cortical actin cytoskeleton; membrane; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; nucleolus; cytosol; nucleus; myelin sheath. Molecular Function: mRNA binding; GTPase activity; protein binding; GTP binding; nucleotide binding; protein kinase binding; tRNA binding; translation elongation factor activity. Biological Process: translational elongation; translation; protein homooligomerization
