other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV% is less than 8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV% is less than 10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Detection Wavelength: 450 nm. Sample Volume: 50-100ul
products description :
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for PTPN6 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any PTPN6 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for PTPN6 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PTPN6 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

uniprot summary :
SHP-1: an SH2-containing ubiquitously expressed tyrosine-specific protein phosphatase. Plays a key role in hematopoiesis. Directly links growth factor receptors and other signaling proteins through protein-tyrosine phosphorylation. The SH2 regions may interact with other cellular components to modulate its own phosphatase activity against interacting substrates. Three alternatively spliced isoforms have been described. Protein type: EC 3.1.3.48; Protein phosphatase, tyrosine (non-receptor); Motility/polarity/chemotaxis. Cellular Component: cytoplasm; nucleolus; alpha-beta T cell receptor complex; intracellular; intercellular junction; nucleus. Molecular Function: phosphotyrosine binding; transmembrane receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase activity; protein tyrosine phosphatase activity; SH2 domain binding; SH3 domain binding; protein kinase binding; natural killer cell lectin-like receptor binding. Biological Process: negative regulation of MAP kinase activity; negative regulation of peptidyl-tyrosine phosphorylation; peptidyl-tyrosine phosphorylation; negative regulation of MAPKKK cascade; natural killer cell mediated cytotoxicity; positive regulation of cell adhesion mediated by integrin; negative regulation of T cell receptor signaling pathway; protein amino acid dephosphorylation; regulation of release of sequestered calcium ion into cytosol; positive regulation of phosphoinositide 3-kinase cascade; negative regulation of humoral immune response mediated by circulating immunoglobulin; cell proliferation; B cell receptor signaling pathway; negative regulation of T cell proliferation; negative regulation of B cell receptor signaling pathway; regulation of B cell differentiation; positive regulation of cell proliferation; response to wounding; hemopoietic progenitor cell differentiation; abortive mitotic cell cycle; platelet formation; cell differentiation
