Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 23.44 pg/ml-1500 pg/ml. Sensitivity: 5.86 pg/ml
other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for ID1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any ID1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for ID1 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of ID1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

uniprot summary :
ID1: ID (inhibitor of DNA binding) HLH proteins lack a basic DNA-binding domain but are able to form heterodimers with other HLH proteins, thereby inhibiting DNA binding. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Protein type: Transcription, coactivator/corepressor; DNA-binding. Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; Golgi apparatus; centrosome; cytoplasm; nucleus. Molecular Function: protein C-terminus binding; protein dimerization activity; protein binding; protein homodimerization activity; protein N-terminus binding; transcription factor binding; transcription factor activity. Biological Process: transcription, DNA-dependent; collagen metabolic process; protein destabilization; negative regulation of transcription factor activity; multicellular organismal development; heart development; rhythmic process; negative regulation of dendrite morphogenesis; negative regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; regulation of angiogenesis; negative regulation of DNA binding; BMP signaling pathway; response to antibiotic; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; negative regulation of endothelial cell differentiation; regulation of MAPKKK cascade; negative regulation of osteoblast differentiation; positive regulation of actin filament bundle formation; endothelial cell morphogenesis; negative regulation of protein binding; negative regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; positive regulation of epithelial cell proliferation; negative regulation of apoptosis
