specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse WNT10B. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse WNT10B and analogues was observed.
storage stability :
Unopened test kits should be stored at 2 to 8 degree C upon receipt. Please refer to pdf manual for further storage instructions.
other info1 :
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 9.4 pg/ml -600 pg/ml. Sensitivity: 2.35 pg/ml.
other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the Assay This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for WNT10B has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any WNT10B present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for WNT10B is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of WNT10B bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

uniprot summary :
WNT10B: Ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Probable developmental protein. May be a signaling molecule which affects the development of discrete regions of tissues. Is likely to signal over only few cell diameters. Defects in WNT10B are the cause of split-hand/foot malformation type 6 (SHFM6). SHFM is a limb malformation involving the central rays of the autopod and presenting with syndactyly, median clefts of the hands and feet, and aplasia and/or hypoplasia of the phalanges, metacarpals, and metatarsals. SHFM6 is a autosomal recessive disorder. Belongs to the Wnt family. Protein type: Secreted; Secreted, signal peptide. Cellular Component: extracellular space; proteinaceous extracellular matrix; extracellular region. Molecular Function: frizzled binding; receptor binding. Biological Process: regulation of fat cell differentiation; positive regulation of apoptosis; multicellular organismal development; regulation of protein metabolic process; skeletal muscle fiber development; Wnt receptor signaling pathway through beta-catenin; negative regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; signal transduction; neuron differentiation; cell-cell signaling; positive regulation of cell proliferation; positive regulation of epithelial cell differentiation; G2/M transition of mitotic cell cycle; positive regulation of transcriptional preinitiation complex assembly; cell cycle arrest; negative regulation of epithelial cell proliferation; smoothened signaling pathway; Wnt receptor signaling pathway; cell fate commitment; sensory perception of taste; protein stabilization; regulation of proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; skeletal muscle regeneration; negative regulation of fat cell differentiation; positive regulation of bone mineralization; positive regulation of ossification; regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; positive regulation of osteoblast differentiation; organ morphogenesis; regulation of skeletal muscle development; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; positive regulation of transcription factor activity; lipid metabolic process; positive regulation of anagen; myoblast cell differentiation involved in skeletal muscle regeneration
