Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
other info2 :
Antigen Source: HUMAN. Function: Has very low kinase activity in vitro and is unlikely to function as a tyrosine kinase in vivo. May act as a receptor for wnt ligand WNT5A which may result in the inhibition of WNT3A- mediated signaling. Cellular Location: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Tissue Location: Expressed strongly in human heart, lung and kidney, but weakly in the CNS. Isoform Short is strongly expressed in fetal and adult CNS and in a variety of human cancers, including those originating from CNS or PNS neuroectoderm. ROR1 Antibody (N-term) - Protocol: Provided below are standard protocols that you may find useful for product applications. ROR subfamily of cell surface receptors. Studies of a similar protein in mouse suggest that this protein may interact with another receptor protein tyrosine kinase and may be involved in skeletal and cardiac development.

products description :
ROR1 is a receptor protein tyrosine kinase whose cellular role has not been determined. It is a type I membrane protein and belongs to the ROR subfamily of cell surface receptors. Studies of a similar protein in mouse suggest that this protein may interact with another receptor protein tyrosine kinase and may be involved in skeletal and cardiac development.

ncbi summary :
This gene encodes a receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor that modulates neurite growth in the central nervous system. The encoded protein is a glycosylated type I membrane protein that belongs to the ROR subfamily of cell surface receptors. It is a pseudokinase that lacks catalytic activity and may interact with the non-canonical Wnt signalling pathway. This gene is highly expressed during early embryonic development but expressed at very low levels in adult tissues. Increased expression of this gene is associated with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
