specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse CYR61. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse CYR61 and analogues was observed.
storage stability :
Unopened test kits should be stored at 2 to 8 degree C upon receipt. Please refer to pdf manual for further storage instructions.
other info1 :
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 18.75 pg/ml -1200 pg/ml. Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of mouse CYR61 is typically less than 4.68 pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations.
other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for CYR61 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any CYR61 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CYR61 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CYR61 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

uniprot summary :
CYR61: Promotes cell proliferation, chemotaxis, angiogenesis and cell adhesion. Appears to play a role in wound healing by up- regulating, in skin fibroblasts, the expression of a number of genes involved in angiogenesis, inflammation and matrix remodeling including VEGA-A, VEGA-C, MMP1, MMP3, TIMP1, uPA, PAI-1 and integrins alpha-3 and alpha-5. CYR61-mediated gene regulation is dependent on heparin-binding. Down-regulates the expression of alpha-1 and alpha-2 subunits of collagen type-1. Promotes cell adhesion and adhesive signaling through integrin alpha-6/beta-1, cell migration through integrin alpha-v/beta-5 and cell proliferation through integrin alpha-v/beta-3. Belongs to the CCN family. Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Secreted. Cellular Component: extracellular matrix; proteinaceous extracellular matrix; extracellular region. Molecular Function: integrin binding; heparin binding; insulin-like growth factor binding; extracellular matrix binding; growth factor binding. Biological Process: extracellular matrix organization and biogenesis; positive regulation of apoptosis; positive regulation of caspase activity; signal transduction; chemotaxis; intussusceptive angiogenesis; osteoblast differentiation; positive regulation of osteoblast differentiation; cell-cell adhesion; cell-cell signaling; positive regulation of protein kinase activity; positive regulation of osteoblast proliferation; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; regulation of cell growth; positive regulation of protein amino acid phosphorylation; cell adhesion; positive regulation of cell differentiation; positive regulation of BMP signaling pathway; negative regulation of apoptosis; positive regulation of cell migration
