ILRL2_HUMAN
specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human IL1RL2. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human IL1RL2 and analogues was observed.
storage stability :
Unopened test kits should be stored at 2 to 8 degree C upon receipt. Please refer to pdf manual for further storage instructions.
other info1 :
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 0.156 ng/ml -10 ng/ml. Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of human IL1RL2 is typically less than 0.039 ng/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations.
other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for IL1RL2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any IL1RL2 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for IL1RL2 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL1RL2 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

ncbi summary :
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 receptor family. An experiment with transient gene expression demonstrated that this receptor was incapable of binding to interleukin 1 alpha and interleukin 1 beta with high affinity. This gene and four other interleukin 1 receptor family genes, including interleukin 1 receptor, type I (IL1R1), interleukin 1 receptor, type II (IL1R2), interleukin 1 receptor-like 1 (IL1RL1), and interleukin 18 receptor 1 (IL18R1), form a cytokine receptor gene cluster in a region mapped to chromosome 2q12. uniprot summary :
IL1RL2: Receptor for interleukin 1 family member 9 (IL1F9). Binding to the agonist leads to the activation of NF-kappa-B. Belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor family. Protein type: Membrane protein, integral. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2q12. Cellular Component: integral to plasma membrane. Molecular Function: interleukin-1, Type I, activating receptor activity; interleukin-1 receptor activity. Biological Process: positive regulation of T cell differentiation; cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway; regulation of inflammatory response; cellular defense response; innate immune response; positive regulation of interleukin-6 production; inflammatory response; signal transduction
