other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the Assay This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for LCP1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any LCP1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for LCP1 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of LCP1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

ncbi summary :
Plastins are a family of actin-binding proteins that are conserved throughout eukaryote evolution and expressed in most tissues of higher eukaryotes. In humans, two ubiquitous plastin isoforms (L and T) have been identified. Plastin 1 (otherwise known as Fimbrin) is a third distinct plastin isoform which is specifically expressed at high levels in the small intestine. The L isoform is expressed only in hemopoietic cell lineages, while the T isoform has been found in all other normal cells of solid tissues that have replicative potential (fibroblasts, endothelial cells, epithelial cells, melanocytes, etc.). However, L-plastin has been found in many types of malignant human cells of non-hemopoietic origin suggesting that its expression is induced accompanying tumorigenesis in solid tissues. uniprot summary :
L-plastin: Actin-binding protein. Plays a role in the activation of T-cells in response to costimulation through TCR/CD3 and CD2 or CD28. Modulates the cell surface expression of IL2RA/CD25 and CD69. Monomer. Interacts with AIF1. Detected in intestinal microvilli, hair cell stereocilia, and fibroblast filopodia, in spleen and other lymph node-containing organs. Expressed in peripheral blood T- lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes, B-lymphocytes, and myeloid cells. Protein type: Actin-binding; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 13q14.3. Cellular Component: ruffle; extracellular space; focal adhesion; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; actin filament bundle; stress fiber; actin filament; cytosol; filopodium; actin cytoskeleton; phagocytic cup. Molecular Function: actin filament binding; identical protein binding; calcium ion binding; actin binding. Biological Process: actin filament bundle formation; organ regeneration; cell migration; regulation of intracellular protein transport; T cell activation during immune response
