specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse WNT3. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse WNT3 and analogues was observed.
storage stability :
Unopened test kits should be stored at 2 to 8 degree C upon receipt. Please refer to pdf manual for further storage instructions.
other info1 :
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and Cell lysates. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 39.07 pg/ml -2500 pg/ml. Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of mouse WNT3 is typically less than 9.77 pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations.
other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for WNT3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any WNT3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for WNT3 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of WNT3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

uniprot summary :
WNT3: Ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Wnt-3 and Wnt-3a play distinct roles in cell-cell signaling during morphogenesis of the developing neural tube. Defects in WNT3 are the cause of autosomal recessive tetra-amelia (ARTTRA). Tetra-amelia is a rare human genetic disorder characterized by complete absence of all four limbs and other anomalies such as craniofacial, nervous system, pulmonary, skeletal and urogenital defects. Belongs to the Wnt family. Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Oncoprotein; Secreted. Cellular Component: proteinaceous extracellular matrix; extracellular space; cytoplasm; extracellular region. Molecular Function: protein domain specific binding; protein binding; frizzled binding; receptor binding. Biological Process: limb development; embryonic forelimb morphogenesis; axon guidance; Wnt receptor signaling pathway; multicellular organismal development; cell morphogenesis; dorsal/ventral axis specification; positive regulation of collateral sprouting in the absence of injury; Wnt receptor signaling pathway through beta-catenin; signal transduction; negative regulation of axon extension involved in axon guidance; embryonic hindlimb morphogenesis; Spemann organizer formation at the anterior end of the primitive streak; anterior/posterior pattern formation; limb bud formation; organ morphogenesis; mesoderm formation; cell-cell signaling; gamete generation; anatomical structure formation; anterior/posterior axis specification
