specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse LCP1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse LCP1 and analogues was observed.
storage stability :
Unopened test kits should be stored at 2 to 8 degree C upon receipt. Please refer to pdf manual for further storage instructions.

other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the Assay This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for LCP1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any LCP1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for LCP1 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of LCP1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

uniprot summary :
L-plastin: Actin-binding protein. Plays a role in the activation of T-cells in response to costimulation through TCR/CD3 and CD2 or CD28. Modulates the cell surface expression of IL2RA/CD25 and CD69. Monomer. Interacts with AIF1. Detected in intestinal microvilli, hair cell stereocilia, and fibroblast filopodia, in spleen and other lymph node-containing organs. Expressed in peripheral blood T- lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes, B-lymphocytes, and myeloid cells. Protein type: Actin-binding; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis. Cellular Component: extracellular space; focal adhesion; actin filament bundle; actin filament; cytosol; actin cytoskeleton; ruffle; cytoskeleton; cell projection; membrane; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; stress fiber; cell junction; phagocytic cup; filopodium. Molecular Function: actin filament binding; identical protein binding; protein binding; metal ion binding; calcium ion binding; actin binding. Biological Process: actin filament bundle formation; cell migration; regulation of intracellular protein transport; response to wounding; T cell activation during immune response
