reactivity :
Human
specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of SDRP. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between SDRP and analogues was observed. NOTE: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between SDRP and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist in some cases.
storage stability :
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C.
other info1 :
Samples: Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate. Assay Type: Competitive. Sensitivity: 0.1 ng/mL.
other info2 :
Intended Uses: This SDRP ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Human SDRP. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!

Cardiovascular
products description :
Principle of the assay: SDRP ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a monoclonal anti-SDRP antibody and an SDRP-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with SDRP-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the SDRP concentration since SDRP from samples and SDRP-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-SDRP antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by SDRP from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind SDRP-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The SDRP concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

ncbi summary :
This gene encodes a calcium-independent phospholipid-binding protein whose expression increases in serum-starved cells. This protein is a substrate for protein kinase C (PKC) phosphorylation and recruits polymerase I and transcript release factor (PTRF) to caveolae. Removal of this protein causes caveolae loss and its over-expression results in caveolae deformation and membrane tubulation.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009]
uniprot summary :
SDPR: May play a role in targeting PRKCA to caveolae. Belongs to the PTRF/SDPR family. Protein type: Lipid-binding. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2q32-q33. Cellular Component: cytoplasm; caveola; cytosol. Molecular Function: protein binding; protein kinase C binding; phosphatidylserine binding; phospholipid binding
