ELISA Kit
products full name :
Monkey anti-double stranded DNA, dsDNA IgG ELISA Kit
products short name :
[anti-double stranded DNA, dsDNA IgG]
specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of dsDNA-IgG. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between dsDNA-IgG and analogues was observed. NOTE: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between dsDNA-IgG and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist in some cases.
storage stability :
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C.

products description :
Intended Uses: This dsDNA-IgG ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Monkey dsDNA-IgG. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!. Principle of the Assay: dsDNA-IgG ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a polyclonal anti-dsDNA-IgG antibody and an dsDNA-IgG-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with dsDNA-IgG-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the dsDNA-IgG concentration since dsDNA-IgG from samples and dsDNA-IgG-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-dsDNA-IgG antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by dsDNA-IgG from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind dsDNA-IgG-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The dsDNA-IgG concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
