Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with pig albumin. Add pig albumin (Standards or samples) to the well, and then add rabbit anti - pig albumin antibody. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between pig albumin (Standards or samples) and pre-coated with pig albumin with the rabbit anti - pig albumin antibody. Then add Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated -anti- rabbit IgG to each well. The substrate solutions are added to the wells, respectively. And the color develops in opposite to the amount of pig albumin bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
