Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with bovine alpha1-AGP. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody preparation specific for bovine alpha1-AGP, mix well and incubated. The more the amount of bovine alpha1-AGP in samples, the less HRP- conjugated antibody preparation specific for bovine alpha1-AGP bound by pre-coated bovine alpha1-AGP. Then a TMB (3,3',5,5' tetramethyl-benzidine) substrate solution is added to each well. And the color develops in opposite to the amount of bovine alpha1-AGP in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
