Samples: Serum, urine, cell culture supernates, tissue homogenates. Assay Type: Competitive. Detection Range: 0.1 ug/ml-40 ug/ml. Sensitivity: 0.04 ug/ml.
other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<6%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<11%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the Assay This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for LRG1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated LRG1. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between LRG1 (Standards or samples) and HRP-conjugated LRG1 with the pre-coated antibody specific for LRG1. The more amount of LRG1 in samples, the less antibody bound by HRP-conjugated LRG1. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in opposite to the amount of LRG1 in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

ncbi summary :
The leucine-rich repeat (LRR) family of proteins, including LRG1, have been shown to be involved in protein-protein interaction, signal transduction, and cell adhesion and development. LRG1 is expressed during granulocyte differentiation (O'Donnell et al., 2002 [PubMed 12223515]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]
