specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse DHT. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse DHT and analogues was observed.
storage stability :
Unopened test kits should be stored at 2 to 8 degree C upon receipt. Please refer to pdf manual for further storage instructions.
other info1 :
Samples: For the quantitative determination of endogenic mouse DHT concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. Detection Range: 0. 1 nmol/L -20 nmol/L.
other info2 :
Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of mouse DHT is typically less than 0.05 nmol/L. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest mouse DHT concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<15%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<15%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
products description :
Principle of the assay: </b<This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat-anti-rabbit antibody. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with an antibody specific for DHT and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated DHT. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP labeled DHT and unlabeled DHT with the antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of DHT in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
