other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV% is less than 8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV% is less than 10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Detection Wavelength: 450 nm. Sample Volume: 50-100ul
products description :
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for IL1RL1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any IL1RL1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for IL1RL1 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL1RL1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

ncbi summary :
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 receptor family. Studies of the similar gene in mouse suggested that this receptor can be induced by proinflammatory stimuli, and may be involved in the function of helper T cells. This gene, interleukin 1 receptor, type I (IL1R1), interleukin 1 receptor, type II (IL1R2) and interleukin 1 receptor-like 2 (IL1RL2) form a cytokine receptor gene cluster in a region mapped to chromosome 2q12. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
uniprot summary :
Function: Receptor for interleukin-33 (IL-33), its stimulation recruits MYD88, IRAK1, IRAK4, and TRAF6, followed by phosphorylation of MAPK3/ERK1 and/or MAPK1/ERK2, MAPK14, and MAPK8. Possibly involved in helper T-cell function.1 PublicationManual assertion based on experiment in:Ref.11
