storage stability :
The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20 degree C. When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of 20.2 mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 degree C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
tested application :
ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Neutr
app notes :
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [NDsoJ of the biological activity of Rat MCP-I (MCAF)(l 00 ng/ml), a concentration of 4.0-6.0 Ilg/ml of this antibody is required. Sandwich ELISA: To detect Rat MCP-I/MCAF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 Ill/well antibody solution) a
concentration of at least 0.5 - 2 Ilg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant Rat MCP-I/MCAF. Western Blot: To detect Rat MCP-l/MCAF by Western Blot analysis thIs antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 Ilg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant Rat MCP-I/MCAF is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
other info1 :
Antigen: Recombinant rat MCP-1/MCAF. Usage: Anti rat MCP-l/MCAF is offered for research use. Not for drug use. Not for human use.
other info2 :
Buffer: PBS; pH 7.2. Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Rat MCP-1/MCAF (100 ng/ml), a concentration of 2.0 - 4.0 ug/ml of this antibody is required. Note: Always centrifuge vials before opening.
products description :
Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant Rat MCP-I/MCAF (Macrophage/Monocyte chemotactic protein-I). Anti-Rat MCP-I/MCAF specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized Rat MCP-I/MCAF matrix.
