other info1 :
Antibody Generation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a rat) immunized with CD3 positive mouse T-Cells. IgG2b fraction of the culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. Antigen: mouse CD3 positive cells
other info2 :
Reconstitution Buffer: PBS (sterile). Reconstitution: Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 500 ug/ml.
products description :
The T cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 complex consists of two variable antigen-recognition receptor chains (TCR-alpha/TCR-beta or TCR-gamma/TCR-delta) that are non-covalently linked to at least four different invariant chains: CD3 gamma, CD3 delta, CD3 epsilon, and the CD3 zeta chain that exists as either a homodimer or as a heterodimer with its splice-variant the CD3 eta chain. The CD3 complex functions to transduce intracellular signals during TCR antigen recognition. CD3 is expressed early in thymocyte development, and on a subset of NK cells. CD3 epsilon is one of at least three invariant proteins that associate with the variable antigen recognition chains of the T cell receptor and function in signal transduction.

uniprot summary :
Function: Probable role in assembly and expression of the TCR complex as well as signal transduction upon antigen triggering. Subunit structure: Interacts with DOCK2 and TRAT1. Interacts with SHB. Interacts with ZAP70. Interacts (tyrosine phosphorylated) with SHC1 (via SH2 domain). Interacts with PTPRC . By similarity. The TCR/CD3 complex of T-lymphocytes consists of either a TCR alpha/beta or TCR gamma/delta heterodimer coexpressed at the cell surface with the invariant subunits of CD3 labeled gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, and eta. CD3-zeta forms either homodimers or heterodimers with CD3-eta. Interacts with SLA and SLA2. Ref.8 Ref.9. Subcellular location: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Domain: The ITAM domains mediate interaction with SHB . By similarity. Post-translational modification: Phosphorylated on Tyr residues after T-cell receptor triggering. Sequence similarities: Belongs to the CD3Z/FCER1G family.Contains 3 ITAM domains.
