Preparation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a rat immunized with recombinant mouse CD40 protein. IgG2 fraction of the culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. Antigen: Mouse recombinant CD40

Reconstitution: Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 500 ug/ml. Reconstitution Buffer: PBS (sterile)

CD40 plays a key role in B-cell growth and differentiation where interactions of CD40 with its ligand, CD154, are involved in the initiation, effector, and memory stages of cell-mediated immune responses. In addition, CD40 has been reported to be involved with the triggering of NK cells and NK-T cells.
