products description :
mAb to CA125. CA125 is an Ovarian Cancer Marker. CA 125 is a 250 + kDa protein. Thought to provide a protective, lubricating barrier against particles and infectious agents at mucosal surfaces. CA125 binds to MSLN. Binding to MSLN mediates heterotypic cell adhesion. This may contribute to the metastasis of ovarian cancer to the peritoneum by initiating cell attachment to the mesothelial epithelium via binding to MSLN.

uniprot summary :
Function: DNA-dependent RNA polymerase catalyzes the transcription of DNA into RNA using the four ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates. HAMAP-Rule MF_01322. Catalytic activity: Nucleoside triphosphate + RNA(n) = diphosphate + RNA(n+1). HAMAP-Rule MF_01322. Subunit structure: The RNAP catalytic core consists of 2 alpha, 1 beta, 1 beta' and 1 omega subunit. When a sigma factor is associated with the core the holoenzyme is formed, which can initiate transcription . By similarity. Sequence similarities: Belongs to the RNA polymerase beta' chain family.
