Kit

The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2-8 degree C. The horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugates are supplied in a stock solution in 50% glycerol/50% PBS, pH 7.4. No preservative added. Store at 2-8 degree C. All system components can be stored for several months at 2-8 degree C without appreciable loss of activity. For long-term storage, the purified antibody and HRP conjugates should be aliquoted undiluted and stores at -20 degree C. Reagents are stable for the period shown on the label if stored as directed.

Research Application(s): Initial screening of fusions and selection of antibody-producing hybridomas. Identification of the heavy and light chain isotypes of antibodies. Selection and isolation of isotype switch variants. ELISA Suggested Dilution: 1:250-1:500

Immunoblotting: Since immunoblotting methods vary, you should determine the optimum working dilution of the product that is appropriate for your specific need. Assay: Horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-based Enzyme-Linked-Immunosorbent-Assay (ELISA) and immunoblotting. Components: 1 mL goat anti-mouse Ig capture antibody (2.5 mg/mL). 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse Ig screening antibody. 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse IgM. 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse IgG1. 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse IgG2a. 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse IgG2b. 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse IgG3. 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse IgA. 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse kappa . 1 mL HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse lambda . ABTS substrate (100 mg). Characterization: To ensure lot-to-lot consistency, each batch of product is tested by ELISA for conformance to characteristics of a standard reference reagent.
