Certificate of Origin: The raw animal product used in the manufacturing of Deoxyribonuclease I (DNase I) is derived from animal material originating in New Zealand, Uruguian or Brazil where there have been no reported cases of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). During processing, the product is subjected to a pH of 1.8 for a minimum period of 14 hours.

It affects principally the skin, joints, kidneys and serosal membranes. It is thought to represent a failure of the regulatory mechanisms of the autoimmune system. Belongs to the DNase I family.
