catalog number :
MBS610127
products full name :
b-Amyloid, Oligomer A11
products short name :
[b-Amyloid, Oligomer A11]
products name syn :
[Anti -b-Amyloid, Oligomer A11]
reactivity :
Mouse, Rat, eukaryote.
specificity :
Recognizes human b-Amyloid, oligomer A11. Recognizes all types of amyloid oligomers. Appears to recognize a peptide backbone epitope that is common to amyloid oligomers, but is not found in native proteins, amyloidogenic monomer or mature amyloid fibrils. Amyloidogenic conformations of non-disease related proteins can be created by partial protein misfolding or denaturation.
form :
Supplied as a liquid. No preservative added.
storage stability :
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
tested application :
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF)
app notes :
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: ELISA: Direct. Western Blot: 1:500 detected Amyloid Oligomer on 10ug of mouse brain lysates. Immunoprecipitation: 1:1000. Suggested cell lysis buffer is RIPA. Suggested capture agent is magnetic beads (Dynabeads). Known co-precipitatiing polypeptide: Amyloid beta, alpha synuclein oligomers. Immunofluorescence: 1:200 diluted 1:1 in a mixture of blocking solution and PBS (refer to protocol). Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:10,000. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

products description :
Amyloid monomeric proteins can sometimes oligomerize into destructive amyloid fibrils. Amyloidogenic conformations of non-disease related proteins can be created by partial protein misfolding or denaturation. In disease state oligomerization, extensive amyloid oligomerization creates plaques in neural tissue that correlates with Alzheimer's symptomology.
