Recognizes human Alpha-1 acid glycoprotein.

Affinity Purified. Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder in 0.2um sterile-filtered solution in PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile PBS.

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Blotting buffer - 25mM Tris, pH 7.4, 0.15M sodium chloride, 0.05% Tween -20. Blocking solution - 5% nonfat dry milk in Blotting buffer. Antibody solution - 5% nonfat dry milk in Blotting buffer. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 25ug/ml; Stains paraffin-embedded normal human liver sections. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher

Alpha-1 acid glycoprotein (AGP), also known as orosomucoid-1, is an acute phase protein secreted by the liver. Serum AGP levels are elevated during inflammatory responses. AGP binds a wide range of molecules in the circulation. Human and mouse AGP share 43% amino acid sequence identity.
