Suitable for use in ELISA, Inhibition of Laminin Binding to Dystroglycan and Western Blot. Dilution: Inhibition of Laminin Binding to Dystroglycan: In a nitrocellulose overlay experiment, this antibody inhibits binding of 125I Laminin to Dystroglycan. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 Detects alpha-Dystroglycan in rabbit skeletal muscle. Rabbit skeletal muscle lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with D9905-05. Proteins were visualized using an IgM (HRP) goat anti-mouse and a chemiluminescence detection system. Note: The use of WGA puri ed protein results in signi cantly cleaner blots and immunoprecipitates. Post-translational modi cation of Dystroglycan causes band broadening.
