CD112 Poliovirus Receptor Related 2 (PRR2), is a new surface molecule, which has been reported to be homologous to the poliovirus receptor (CD155). Studies demonstrate that PRR2 expression is restrictred to the myelomonocytic and megakaryocytic lineages. PRR2 expresion has also been detected on haematopoeitic progenitors expressing CD34.

The protein mediates cellular adhesion of platelets and megakaryocytic cells to vascular endothelial cells. The protein also plays a role in megakaryocytic cell maturation.
