In rapid test, HCV core antigen can be sed either as conjugate or capture over membrane. if forms dimer migrating at 50 kDa in size. HCV core isoelectric point is 11.02, a 6 x histidine tag is attach to it's C-terminal. The product is developed by this antigen have good performance in sensivity and specifity.
