catalog number :
MBS573740
products full name :
Rabbit anti Tritirachium album Proteinase K, conjugated with Biotin
products short name :
Tritirachium album Proteinase K
reactivity :
Cross-reactivities against enzymes of other sources may occur but have not been determined.
specificity :
Biotin-conjugated IgG fraction of polyclonal Rabbit antiSerum to proteinase K from Tritirachium album.
purity :
The IgG (7S) fraction is prepared from the antiserum by ammonium sulphate precipitation and ion exchange chromatography.
form :
Biotin-coupled hyperimmune rabbit IgG Iyophilised from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2).
storage stability :
Store at 4 degree C. Handling: The Iyophilised conjugate is shipped at ambient temperature and may be stored at +4°C; prolonged storage at or below -20°C. It is reconstituted by adding 1.0 ml sterile distilled water, spun down to remove insoluble particles, divided into small aliquots, frozen and stored at or below -20°C. Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly at ambient temperature, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at +4°C, not refrozen, and preferably used the same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the product.
tested application :
ELISA (EIA), Immunocytochemistry (IHC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Dot Blot (DB), Immunoblotting (IB)
app notes :
Directions for use: Working dilutions in non-precipitating antibody-binding techniques may vary widely, but may be between 1/10,000 and 1/1,000,000.
other info1 :
Conjugation: Biotin. Preservative: No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. No foreign protein added. Immunogen: Proteinase K isolated and purified from Tritirachium album. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure. Identity & Specificity: The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques: immunoelectrophoresis, cross-immunoelectrophoresis, single radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition. Physicochemical characteristics: IgG protein concentration 10 mg/ml. BiotinllgG protein molar ratio (B/P) approximately 6.8. No
foreign proteins added. Marker: N-Hydroxysuccinimidobiotin. Conjugation procedure: A proprietary technique for the binding to biotin is used, followed by several purification steps.
After each step activity and specificity are tested in a variety of techniques. The conjugate is lyophilised to assure stability and long shelf life.
