IgG fraction of polyclonal Rabbit antiSerum to nuclease from Staphylococcus aureus.

The IgG (7S) fraction is prepared from the antiserum by ammonium sulphate precipitation and ion exchange chromatography.

Purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG lyophilized from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2).

The lyophilized IgG fraction is shipped at ambient temperature and may be stored at 4 degree C or for prolonged storage at or below -20 degree C. It is reconstituted by adding 1ml sterile distilled water, spun down to remove insoluble particles, divided into small aliquots, frozen and stored at or below -20 degree C. Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly at ambient temperature, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at 4 degree C, non refrozen, and preferably used the same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the product. Storage/Shelf life:. Lyophilze at 4 degree C at least 10 yrs. Reconstituted at or below -20 degree C up to 3 to 5 years. Reconstituted at 4 degree C up to 7 days.

This product is intended for use in precipitating and non-precipitating antibody-binding assays (such as e.g., ELISA and Western blotting, and immunofluorescence or histochemical techniques); to prepare an insoluble immuno-affinity adsorbent; for labelling with a marker of the customer's own choice. Directions for Use: Working dilutions in non-precipitating antibody-binding techniques may vary widely, but may be between 1/1000 and 1/10,000

Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure. Nordenzyme is the name of a group of polyclonal immunologic reagents to enzymes. Two different types of rabbit or sheep anti-enzyme products are offered: the isolated IgG fractions (7S) of the specific antisera and the isolated antibodies (PAb) to the enzymes. Products against some 180 enzymes are available either as 7S or PAb or in both forms. The 7S fractions are also available in biotinylated form. The Nordenzyme products have been obtained by immunization with highly purified enzymes.
