Physical State: Frozen Liquid. Buffer: Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2. Preservative: 0.1% sodium azide. Procedure: Recombinant Plasmodium falciparum Histidine-Rich Protein II (UniProt#P90582, a.a. 21-309) with a 6xHIS tag was expressed in E. coli and purified by nickel affinity chromatography. Under reducing conditions, the protein is detected at an estimated molecular weight of 40 kDa. Specifications: The product is determined to be >90% pure based on SDS-PAGE analysis. Its concentration is determined using a Bradford protein assay with a BSA standard curve. The protein reacts with a monoclonal Mouse anti- Plasmodium falciparum ( MBS563504 ) antibody, as verified by western blotting and ELISA.
