The anti IgG2A only reacts with IgG2A by IEP and gel diffusion analysis when tested against each of the mouse IgG subclasses at 1.0 mg/ml. By ELISA this product reacts specifically with Mouse IgG2A and shows less than 1% cross-reactivity with IgG1, IgG2b and IgG3.

Preservative: 0.1% Sodium Azide. Procedure: Goats were immunized with highly purified mouse IgG2A in Freunds adjuvant. The resulting antiserum was sequentially absorbed with IgG1, IgG2B and IgG3 immunoabsorbants until it was IgG2A specific. The anti-IgG2A was then immunoaffinity purified and tested for monospecificity.
