The anti IgG1 only reacts with IgG1 by IEP and gel diffusion analysis when tested against each of the mouse IgG subclasses at 1.0 mg/ml. By ELISA this product reacts specifically with Mouse IgG1 and shows less than 1% crossreactivity with IgG2a, IgG2b and IgG3.

Preservative: 0.1% Sodium Azide. Procedure: Goats were immunized with highly purified mouse IgG1 in Freunds adjuvant. The resulting antiserum was sequentially absorbed with IgG2A, IgG2B and IgG3 immunoabsorbants until it was IgG1 specific. The anti IgG1 was then immunoaffinity purified and tested for monospecificity.
