purity :
>85%, as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
form :
Recombinant mouse Interleukin-11receptor alpha was lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered PBS solution pH 7.4.
storage stability :
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20 degree C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2 degree - 8 degree C for one month, or at -20 degree C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
other info1 :
Domain: Extracellular. Host Note: DNA sequence encoding extracellular domain of Mouse IL-11RA fused to a C-terminal polyHis tag was expressed in HEK cells. Biological Activity: The activity was determined by its ability to bind mouse IL-6ST in functional ELISA.
other info2 :
Endotoxin: Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/ug (1EU/ug). Reconstitution: A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers. Molecular Weight Note: Recombinant Mouse Interleukin-11RA is a monomer consisting of 355 amino acid residue subunits, and migrates as an approximately 46 kDa protein under reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. Presentation: Recombinant mouse Interleukin-11 alpha was lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered PBS solution pH 7.4.

products description :
Receptor for interleukin-11. The receptor systems for IL6, LIF, OSM, CNTF, IL11 and CT1 can utilize IL6ST for initiating signal transmission. The IL11/IL11RA/IL6ST complex may be involved in the control of proliferation and/or differentiation of skeletogenic progenitor or other mesenchymal cells.

uniprot summary :
IL11RA: Receptor for interleukin-11. Essential for the normal development of craniofacial bones and teeth. Restricts suture fusion and tooth number. Defects in IL11RA are a cause of craniosynostosis and dental anomalies (CRSDA). CRSDA is a disorder characterized by craniosynostosis, maxillary hypoplasia, and dental anomalies, including malocclusion, delayed and ectopic tooth eruption, and/or supernumerary teeth. Some patients also display minor digit anomalies, such as syndactyly and/or clinodactyly. Belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. Type 3 subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Protein type: Membrane protein, integral. Cellular Component: membrane; integral to membrane. Molecular Function: interleukin-11 binding; hematopoietin/interferon-class (D200-domain) cytokine receptor activity; interleukin-11 receptor activity. Biological Process: maternal process involved in pregnancy; natural killer cell differentiation; cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway; positive regulation of cell proliferation; decidualization; placenta development
