Source Note: Polyclonal CD32B antibody was produced from sera of rabbits immunized with recombinant mouse CD32B extracellular domain. Presentation: Lyophilized from 0.2um filtered solution in PBS pH 7.4 with 5% trehalose. Dilution: A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in 0.01M PBS pH 7.4 or other diluents.
other info2 :
Reconstitution: A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.

products description :
The inhibitory Fc- receptor IIB (FcRIIB, CD32B), a type I transmembrane receptor with low affinity for monomeric IgG, is a critical regulatory element in B-cell homeostasis. CD32B controls the threshold and the extent of cell activation by counterbalancing the stimulatory activity of a variety of receptors, including the B-cell antigen receptor. Consistent with its regulatory function, CD32B is found on several hematopoietic cell types, which also express activating FcRs, and represents the predominant FcR expressed by the B-cell lineage.

ncbi summary :
The protein encoded by this gene is a low affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin gamma complexes. The encoded protein is involved in the phagocytosis of immune complexes and in the regulation of antibody production by B-cells. Variations in this gene may increase susceptibilty to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. uniprot summary :
FCGR2B iso2: a transmembrane receptor for the Fc region of complexed or aggregated immunoglobulin gamma (IgG). Involved in a variety of effector and regulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B-cells. Binding to this receptor results in down modulation of previous state of cell activation triggered via antigen receptors on B cells, T cells or via another Fc receptor. Three splice-variant isoforms have been observed. Protein type: Cell surface; Oncoprotein; Membrane protein, integral. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1q23. Cellular Component: plasma membrane; integral to membrane. Molecular Function: protein binding; IgG binding. Biological Process: regulation of immune response; viral reproduction; immune response; signal transduction. Disease: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus; Malaria, Susceptibility To
