Biological Significance: Immunoglobulin G (IgG) are antibody molecules. Each IgG is composed of four peptide chains - two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. Other Immunoglobulins may be described in terms of polymers with the IgG structure considered the monomer. IgG constitutes 75% of serum immunoglobulins in humans. IgG molecules are synthesized and secreted by plasma B cells.

Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling. Tag/Conjugate: HRP. Immunogen: Antisera purified by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads. Cross reactivity: Ab reacts with whole molecule Sheep IgG and with light chains common to most sheep immunoglobulins. Minimally cross reactive with chicken, guinea pig, Syrian hamster, horse, human, mouse, rabbit and rat serum proteins. Warning: BSA and Dry Milk may contain IgG which reacts with anti-sheep IgG.
