Biological Significance: Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) is an RNA virus classified as a pneumovirus in the paramyxovirus family. Goats and sheep can also be infected by respiratory syncytial viruses. BRSV is distributed worldwide, and is indigenous in the cattle population. BRSV infections associated with respiratory disease occur for the most part in young beef and dairy cattle.

Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product. Immunogen: BRSV antibody was raised in rabbit using residues 483-488 [FPSDEFC] of the 63 kDa RSV and BRSV F protein as the immunogen.
