Intended Use
The RF-Adsorbent is designed for pre-adsorbtion of interfering substances in IgM assays. Interfering
substances may include rheumatoid factors or other serum components capable of causing non-specific
signal in ELISA assessment of IgM antibodies. Principle of the Test
The RF-Adsorbent reagent contains a solution of anti-IgG antibodies. Pre-treatment of unknowns with this
reagent will significantly eliminate or significantly decrease the level of interfering IgG antibodies by binding
them prior to introducing unknowns into the ELISA assay where they will be exposed to the capture antibody
immobilized on the microtiter plate.
